Mapping the Challenge

The partnership between Ecodrive and Kodiak Cakes delivered impressive results.. both environmentally and commercially. But impact alone doesn’t tell the full story unless people can see it.

The challenge was twofold:

  • Translate environmental impact and sales performance into something engaging and digestible
  • Create a piece that could scale across platforms without losing clarity or emotional pull

Production

We focused on storytelling through motion.

Rather than leading with charts or dense reporting, we built an animated narrative that guided viewers through the partnership’s purpose, execution, and results. Animation allowed us to simplify complex ideas, highlight key metrics, and visually connect consumer action to tangible environmental outcomes.

Our goal was to create a piece that could live anywhere.. websites, presentations, social channels, and partner communications.. without needing added context.

The animated case study was designed with clarity and momentum in mind:

  • Clean, brand-aligned visuals for both Ecodrive and Kodiak Cakes
  • Motion-driven storytelling that emphasized cause-and-effect
  • Clear callouts for environmental impact and in-store sales performance
  • Modular pacing that made the piece easy to repurpose and scale
