How do you get people excited about surgery? You give them the whole story! We set out to showcase a non-invasive, quick and easy solution to Carpal Tunnel called SmartRelease.
MicroAire Surgical Instruments is on a mission to develop medical devices that deliver less-invasive, superior outcomes for surgeons and, most importantly, their patients.
Surgery isn't the most glamorous occasion.. we get it. However, that 15 minutes in an operating room can truly change lives, so we found people that could tell us exactly that - patients! It's one thing to hear about how great a surgery is from a surgeon, but what if people just like you, told you about their experience. We found patients willing to tell us their stories to add social proof to a campaign, and product, built on the people themselves.
Set across a week of production, we traveled from a hand doctor in Michigan to the Ft. Worth Zoo and finished up downtown Dallas at a jazz bar - places where real people live their real lives. We brought a lean crew as we were welcomed into patient's homes and lives so as to keep a small footprint. This allowed us to direct the patients on a human to human level. No scripts, just the truth!
