It's trendy to say you're pursuing holistic health, but few take on the challenge of building a brand around it.

When Built Different asked for a video to launch their mission of improving lives, physically, mentally, relationally, and spiritually - we hydrated, and stepped up to the challenge.

Working with Thursday's & Co. creative agency, we wire-framed a story that followed the organization's founder, Zach Clinton, through the journey of a life built differently.

Lucky for us, Zach also happened to be a college athlete, so filming a 1 am CrossFit workout wasn't an issue.

The script alluded to each element of a life built differently, through motivational descriptions rather than directives. In addition, Zach's voice-over adds to the authenticity of his journey while simultaneously promoting the brand's podcast.

Animation and live-action were blended to move the viewer between each category of the brand's four pillars. At the same time, lighting differentiated living in the anxiety of an accepted life from the freedom that comes when one takes actions toward a life built differently.

But, this production was not short of speed bumps – from rapidly accelerated production timelines, missing actors, and building custom furniture the morning of production – our very own visual director hopped in to fill a supporting role.

Today, the video has been used to promote the organization at conferences across the U.S., embedded into the core design of the website, and is driving traffic to the organization across social channels.
