Drawing in some of the most passionate people and pro fishers around, Fishing for the Fight needed a way to share why they exist and engage participants after each event. So we stepped in to help the fight with a Mini-Doc and annual Funding Campaign video.

In order to capture this much content in a day in a half, we put some miles on our vehicles, our backs, and our cameras. Tracking down fisherman that are wading and competitively fly fishing upstream means that it’s hard enough to keep up with them, let alone find them.

Delivery quality is dependent on being in the right place at the right time - which means miles of hiking through willows, mud fields, and river crossings just to get a chance at getting a fish on film. Finding dory is no joke.

There’s no phone service or GPS tracking, so the drone goes up and tracks a few miles of river as we get to a beat (fishing location) to find the fisherman and the chase is on. Once we’ve located the fisherman, multiple cameras and all our equipment gets hauled upstream in order to shoot for about an hour with each fisherman.

As Fishing for the Fight's primary provider of content marketing, we can't help but be a little proud of the final measurements.

The Mini-Doc drove awareness, leading to a capped registration after exceeding the competition's participation capacity. While, the annual Funding Campaign video has increased donor engagement, helping to raise over $500,000 in support of families fighting cancer, people with special needs, and children with chronic illnesses.
