It was a casual Tuesday afternoon in July when Mario Simon, President of Mojo Licensing, called to see if we wanted to launch the world's first PGA TOUR golf bag.
The catch? We would have 30 days to create and distribute all the creative content for a fully integrated crowdfunding campaign on IndieGoGo.
Needless to say, summer Fridays at the pool were put on pause, and we headed for the course.
Finding the right character to take their turn on tour was critical.
With less than a week of pre-production, a rising PGA TOUR star who just happened to have access to one of the best courses in Virginia and didn't mind a camera following him around the course as he practiced for his next tournament.
After filming on the fairways, we needed to follow our character across the world's most known courses. But with just 10 days left things needed to take a turn for the technical – using digital assets with live-action footage we composited our star on each of the well-known courses as he completed the tour.
The campaign came to life across multiple touch points. Resulting in a fully-funded campaign on IndieGoGo within the first 24 hours of the launch!
